Spotlight does basic math. Cue adds live currency, units, and DST-correct time zones, and reads the number you've selected anywhere on screen. No app switch.
Does it need internet? +
No. It grabs currency rates once a day and caches them. Everything else is offline.
Is it private? +
Fully local. No accounts, no telemetry, no AI. Selection reading happens on-device.
